How Do I Delete My Account?

Typically when an Approver.com user wants to delete their account, they really want to do one of two things:
  • Remove their documents and other data from the site
  • Stop us from sending you email alerts and our newsletter
You can delete any of your Approver.com documents at any time by clicking on the delete button at the bottom of the document authoring page. You can remove your contacts on the My Contacts page.

You can shut off your Approver.com email alerts by going to My Profile, clicking on the Settings link for your email address(es), and shutting off the email alerts on that page by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" links.

Why don't we provide the ability to delete your account completely? Because deleting your documents and shutting off alerts achieves functionally the same thing, with the added advantage that the system won't contact you again if one of your colleagues attempts to invite you in the future. If we simply deleted your account, there's a chance that the system would send you another invitation to join at some future date, which some of our more privacy-sensitive users would find distressing.
