Sharing Documents in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF)
Approver.com supports sharing of Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. You can share and view (but not edit) documents in the PDF format.
To share your document as a PDF, you must convert it into PDF format. There are a number of software packages that enable you to do this. Adobe Acrobat is probably the best package, but it's a little spendy (check prices on Amazon.com). Acrobat has the advantage of letting you digitally sign, annotate, and merge documents, as well as make PDF forms that can be filled out by others.
For creating quick PDF files on Windows, we like a free utility called PDFCreator. This enables you to create PDFs the same way you print any kind of document, from nearly any software you use. The software is free.
If you're on a recent version of Macintosh OS X, printing to PDF format is supported within the operating system. Simply print your document and click on the PDF button in the print dialog.
